Regional Club Council Representative
The Regional Club Council (RCC) Representative serves as the BMDCNV liaison to BMDCA and other regional clubs, acting as the conduit for information to and from the BMDCA and regional clubs. Main tasks involve:
-
Working with other regional clubs on common issues such as offering examples of how BMDCNV handled an issue, and asking for information on how other clubs operate/consider options.
-
Sending communications from the BMDCA to the BMDCNV Board to pass on to club members.
-
Helping to make regional club processes within BMDCA function better.
-
Sending Nashoba Valley event information to the BMDCA Website Committee (which also gets sent to the Alpenhorn as a result), etc.
This role offers an opportunity for someone interested in learning more about club operations at both the national and regional levels. The position requires a time commitment of 1 to 3 hours per month. The RCC generally meets via Zoom. Please note, it is not necessary to be a member of the BMDCA to be the RCC Representative.
